How chapters get written, sourced, corrected — and where the money comes from.
Original content only
Every chapter on this site is written from scratch by our editorial team. We do not republish press releases, syndicated feeds, or AI-spun rewrites of other people's articles. Where we quote or reference another source, we say so and link to it.
Sourcing
Laws and playing conditions are checked against the MCC Laws of Cricket and ICC playing conditions. Statistics come from published scorecards and recognised statistical archives. Historical claims are checked against at least two independent sources before publication.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, email official@learnbeyondwicket.com. We verify, then correct the page itself. Significant corrections are noted in the chapter.
Updates
Records, tournament results and technology chapters are reviewed after each major international event. Rules and equipment chapters are reviewed annually.
Advertising and independence
The site is funded by display advertising (Google AdSense) and direct sponsorships. Sponsored placements are visually labelled. No advertiser sees, reviews or approves editorial content before publication, and no chapter is written in exchange for payment. We decline advertising from categories we consider harmful to our readers.
